Adventure Paws is all about taking dogs hiking through the Santa Monica Mountains. We are a great alternative to the traditional dog daycare, dog park or dog walking service in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades because we get your dog back in nature.

There are many beautiful trails to explore just outside Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades. An experienced dog walker will pick your dog up from your home and lead your dog on a series of adventure hikes multiple times per week. These hikes last an hour and fifteen minutes and go winding through trees, streams and grass and have the goal of ascending a mountain to get your dog totally pooped! A tired dog is a happy dog. :)

Our adventure hikes are a great option for dogs with moderate to high energy levels or for dogs who’ve been couch potatoes and need to get back in shape.


In addition to making sure your dog has fun we, as professional dog walkers in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades, are responsible for making sure your beloved pet stays safe at all times. We use the latest dog training techniques (including really good treats!) and GPS collars to make sure the pack always stays together.

The entire outing lasts about four hours and gives your dog multiple bathroom breaks, so that you don’t have to worry about rushing home after a long day of work.

Our adventure hikes are a great alternative to the traditional doggy day care because we get your dog back in nature, socializing with other dogs, trained to follow the pack leader and of course major exercise!

If you’re considering a dog daycare or our adventure service please realize that doggy day cares are great, but they have their place. Dog daycares are great for puppies and older dogs, but if you have an active or more rebellious dog then your dog would benefit from a more structured environment that one of our experienced dog walkers can provide. Unlike a doggy day care facility we have the added bonus of picking up and dropping off your dog from your home as well.

While at your home we provide a poop scooping service to keep your yard clean from pet waste. Nothing is worse than stepping in dog poop as soon as you get home, so for an extra fee we will poop scoop your yard leaving it nice and clean for your arrival. We not only provide dog waste removal, we provide general pet waste removal for other types of pets as well. You can schedule the dog poop pick up service in combination with an adventure hike or as a stand-alone service, ensuring that you always have a nice clean yard for the weekend.
